ITINERARY
FRI: ATHENS/PIRAEUS - MYKONOS
Embarkation on your cruise-ship in Piraeus. Depart Piraeus at 11h00 and sail to Mykonos, probably the best known of all the Greek Islands, with great beaches, relaxation and nightlife. Time at leisure to explore the island on your own (18h00 – 23h00 in Mykonos). Mykonos: Renowned for its lovely beaches and distinctive Cycladic atmosphere, Mykonos attracts large numbers of visitors each year. Mykonos (also called Chora) is the capital of the island, here you will find tavernas, shops and pretty charm with wooden balconies loaded with flowers, red-domed chapels and whitewashed buildings. Mykonos is famous for its all-night bars and all-day beaches. Even those not particularly interested in history should take a boat-trip to Delos, the sacred island and legendary birthplace of Apollo. Ancient Delos is a vast archaeological site covering almost a quarter of the island. Sail for Kusadasi on the Turkish coast.

SAT: KUSADASI - PATMOS
Arrival in Kusadasi at approximately 07h00 where you can explore for a while.. A great place for shopping or enjoying the beaches nearby. (Optional tour to Ephesus, which can be booked on board). Time to explore Kusadasi and surrounding areas. We sail at 12h00 and head for Patmos. Arrival in Patoms at 16h00 where you can explore for a while. Patmos: Patmos is one of Greece's most sacred islands, and exudes historical and religious significance. St. John wrote the Book of Revelation in a grotto overlooking the main town. Patmos' mild, healthy climate, sunshine virtually all year 'round, indented coastline with delightful bays and coves and numerous chapels combine to form a picture of unique beauty. The main harbour is at Skala, which is also the largest village and commercial centre. Patmos (also called Hora or Chora) is the capital on the island, and is built 3 km south-east from Skala. In Patmos town, you will see the imposing walls of the Monastery of St. John. Another site worth visiting is the sacred Grotto of the Revelation, located half-way between Patmos town and Skala. We sail at 21h00 for Heraklion, Crete.

SUN: HERAKLION - SANTORINI
Arrival at in Crete at approximately 07h00. Crete is the biggest of all Greek islands. It is outstanding not only because of its geographical situation, but also because of its long history and exceptional cultural heritage. Crete is characterised by its diversity of landscape. The island is dominated by a major mountain range extending from west to east, with fertile valleys between the mountains. Heraklion is the capital of Crete, other cities are Rethymnon and Chania.
Afternoon sail to Santorini. Santorini: The island is also known as "Thera". Most of the island's terrain is covered by volcanic material, and the famous "Caldera" on the west side of the island shows the breathtaking view of the extinct crater, now engulfed by the sea. This is the location of the legendary "Atlantis", and the ancient site at Akrotiri shows remnants from bygone days. Kamari Beach, with its black sand, is popular with sun-worshippers, and many claim that watching the sunset from Oia is an experience never forgotten!
Evening sail, heading for Pireaus.
