No visit to Cape Town is complete without a half day tour of the mother city itself. After departing from your hotel we head for Table Mountain. Enjoy the crisp air and clear visibility as you reach the summit (weather permitting). Your guide will point out the highlights of one of the worlds most famous views. After the decent, the tour continues on, through the "Bo Kaap", also known as the Malay quarter. The architecture in this area is typical of what Cape Town was like 200 years ago. Our drive takes us past President Zuma’s official residence and the houses of parliament before continuing to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Considered to be one of the finest restoration examples, the harbour differs from others in that it still is a working commercial harbour with fishing vessels, tugs & barges. The coach then returns you to your hotel or you can explore the Waterfront further on your own.
