ITINERARY
SUN: ANKARA - CAPPADOCIA
Tour starts at Ankara Airport at 09:00 am. Morning visit to the Museum of Anatolia Civilizations which is located in a restored Bazaar. The museum has a unique and priceless collection dating back to the prehistoric era. Continue to the Mausoleum of Ataturk. This magnificent structure serves as a tribute to the founder of modern Turkey. Lunch in Ankara, before departure for Cappadocia via the Salt Lake.

MON: CAPPADOCIA
Full day tour of Cappadocia, visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley) and see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. In the afternoon, continue to Goreme Valley; see the Goreme Open Air Museum, with its churches hewn out of the rock, decorated by colourful frescoes. Visit the underground city of Kaymakli and see the huge refuge carved during the early Christian era which severed as a safe haven from persecutors.

TUE: CAPPADOCIA - PAMUKKALE
Drive to Konya, en-route visit the authentic Caravanserai of Sultanhan. Konya was the capital of the Selcuk Turks during the 13th century and is known for its theological school of “Whirling Dervishes”. Visit the Mevlana Museum. Continue to Pamukkale, known for its “cotton castles” and mineral pools.

WED: PAMUKKALE - KUSADASI
Visit the ruins of the magnifi cent Temple of Apollo, the magnificent theatre, the fascinating Necropolis and the great baths of ancient Hierapolis. Continue to Aphrodisias, an ancient city dedicated to the goddess of love, Aphrodite. This is one of the most recent discoveries in Turkey. Drive to Kusadasi, located on the Aegean coast.

THU: KUSADASI - EPHESUS - KUSADASI
Drive to Ephesus, the best-preserved and most visited ancient site in Turkey. The city was dedicated to Artemis, the virgin Goddess of Chase. Continue to the world famous House of the Virgin Mary and later to the Selcuk Museum.

FRI: KUSADASI - PERGAMUM - CANAKKALE
Drive to Pergamum; visit the Asclepion. Continue to Troy, the legendary city of Homer. Proceed to Canakkale, known as the city in the Dardanelles.

SAT: CANAKKALE - GALLIPOLI - ISTANBUL
Depart for Istanbul, via Gallipoli. Continue to Istanbul and transfer to Istanbul Airport. (BL)
