SUN: TEL AVIV – CAESAREA – HAIFA – ACRE - ROSH HANIKRA - GALILEE
Depart Tel Aviv, travel along the coastal plain to Caesarea. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and the aqueduct. Continue to Mt. Carmel and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Haifa. Visit “AF AL PI CHEN”, the Naval Museum commemorating the ships that defied the British blockade to smuggle immigrants into Israel. Drive to Acre; walk along the old harbour and the local market. Continue to the northernmost point of Israel, Rosh Hanikra and visit the limestone Grottoes. Continue to Galilee for the night.

MON: GALILEE - SAFED - GOLAN HEIGHTS - BANIAS - GALILEE
Drive to Safed and visit the Joseph Caro and the Ha’Ari synagogues. Some time to stroll around the Artist’s Quarter. Enjoy a jeep tour to the foot of the Golan Heights, stop at an observation point and view the city of Kuneitra and the Syrian territory. Visit the Banias springs and Tel-Hai. See the “Roaring Lion” monument and learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920.

TUE: GALILEE - TIBERIAS - BEIT SHEAN - BEIT ALPHA – SACHNE -JERUSALEM
Drive to Tiberias to visit Rambam’s grave. Continue to Beit Shean and see the excavations from Roman and Byzantine periods. Stop at Beit Alpha and see the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue from the Byzantine period. Continue to Gan Hashlosha (Sachne), located at the foot of the Gilboa mountain where King Saul was killed in the battle against the Philistines. Swim in natural pools of Sachne (time permitting). Continue to Jerusalem where the tour ends. (B)
