Day 1:
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative. Private transfer from Johannesburg to the Waterberg region, located north of Pretoria. Approximate travelling time: 2 ½ hours. Check in at your lodge.
Overnight: Legend Golf & Safari Resort, Entabeni Wildlife Reserve.
Day 2 & 3:
Each day, a round of golf at Legend Golf Course: The golf course is designed as an 18 hole championship golf course. It is at once the longest golf course in South Africa, providing all golfers, irrespective of their handicap, the experience of a true African challenge. The course plays at 6,534 metres for daily play but is capable of being extended to 7,748 metres for tournaments, making it one of the longest in the world.
Set on the legendary 22 000 hectare Entabeni Safari Conservancy, the course has flowing fairways which wind through the open grasslands and dense bush. The pristine bushveld environment has been preserved and the course remains one of the most environmentally sensitive in Africa. Each hole is a signature hole, the sheer scale of the golf course, with gently undulating greens and strategic bunkering ensures a unique golfing experience with breathtaking views of the Waterberg mountains as a backdrop. On any given hole, a range of 5 tees allows the golf course to be set up for both professional and amateur players and creates the flexibility that one needs for an enjoyable golfing experience.
The course offers an optional 19th hole: Set high up on the impressive Hanglip Mountain and accessible only by helicopter, this par 3 hole is played from a vertical height of 430 metres. After a short, breathtaking helicopter flight, golfers have the opportunity of teeing off from one of three tee boxes, high up on the escarpment. With advanced technology in the form of four separate cameras and the latest tracking equipment, the golfer can follow and capture the tee shot and the flight of the ball.

Today – a day at leisure at this beautiful resort, we recommend that you book one of the safari drives available. Entabeni Wildlife Reserve offers great game-viewing opportunities, this is a “Big 5” private wildlife reserve.
