DAY 1: COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen was once a humble fishing village, but today it is the glittering capital of Denmark. Copenhagen is considered to be Scandinavia’s pre-eminent city. The city’s 1000 year history written by ambitious kings, inspiring artists and designers can be found in the sumptuous palaces, copper-roofed town houses and cobbled squares. Overnight: Copenhagen
DAY 2: COPENHAGEN
A morning guided canal tour through the harbour and the idyllic canals of Copenhagen. See the old harbour “Nyhavn”, the famous statue “The Little Mermaid”, the Royal Palace and some of the most beautiful churches, castles, picturesque old houses and architecturally interesting new buildings. In the afternoon, we suggest a visit to Rosenborg Castle where the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia are kept. In the evening, visit to the Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks with several restaurants, 400000 flowers and 110000 coloured lights (entrance fee to Tivoli included in tour costs).

DAY 3: COPENHAGEN – OSLO
Travel by train via Gothenburg to Oslo, the capital of Norway. The combination of city life and easy access to outdoor activities makes Oslo a unique destination to explore. Balance of day at leisure. We suggest a stroll down Karl Johans Gate, leading to the Royal Palace.

DAY 4: OSLO
A 4-hour guided sightseeing tour of Oslo including the amazing Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Holmenkollen Ski Jump for a bird’s-eye view of the city and the fjord below, the world-famous Viking Ship Museum and the city centre. Afternoon at leisure, we suggest a visit to the Opera House, Akerskus Fortress, or a mini-cruise on the Oslofjord. Overnight: Oslo (B)
DAY 5: OSLO – STOCKHOLM
Travel by train to the Swedish capital, Stockholm. Stockholm is a vibrant, modern city, famous for producing sleek designs and edgy fashion. In the afternoon, we suggest stroll in the Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets or a visit to the wonderful Skansen open air museum.

DAY 6: STOCKHOLM – HELSINKI
Enjoy a 2.5-hour panoramic tour of Stockholm. Travel by coach around the city, viewing the best sites and buildings including the Royal Palace, City Hall and the Vasa Museum. Enjoy a boat trip around the Royal Park of Djurgarden and past the inner archipelago islands. Some time at leisure Stockholm. In the afternoon, embark on a luxurious cruise ferry and cruise slowly down the picturesque Stockholm archipelago, one of the largest in the world with more than 24000 islands.

Day 7: HELSINKI
Breakfast on board as you sail into Helsinki. Disembark and make your way to your hotel. Mid-morning audio tour of Helsinki including the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, the Parliament Building and Olympic Stadium. In the afternoon, explore the city’s museums and galleries, or visit Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
