DAY 1: OSLO
Arrival Oslo, check in at hotel. Balance of day at leisure. Oslo, the capital of Norway, is situated at the end of the Oslo fjord. Oslo is the largest city in Norway and has a closeness to nature that few other capitals can provide. Oslo is the oldest capital in northern Europe, founded in 1000 AD. The main street, Karl Johans Gate, leads past shops and hotels, parks and monuments to the Royal Palace. The city is the home of the new Museum of Contemporary Art, the Norwegian National Opera and the National Theatre. Cafe society thrives, and jazz clubs and nightclubs are open late.
Overnight: Oslo.
DAY 2: OSLO SIGHTSEEING
A 2-hour sightseeing tour of Oslo. See the famous and amazing Vigeland sculpture park, the Royal Palace, the City Hall and the parliament building (Stortinget). Drive to the Holmenkollen ski jump area which offers scenic views of the city and surrounding area. Rest of day at leisure.

DAY 3: OSLO
At leisure in Oslo. The Munch Museum is just one of today’s possibilities. A visit to Aker Brygge (Oslo’s “Waterfront”) should also be part of your day.
